No app store, no developer account
The passenger app is a progressive web app, so it installs from a QR code rather than an app store. Print the QR code from your admin panel and put it in your vehicles. Passengers scan it, tap "Add to Home Screen" and your app is on their phone, in your company name and colour. Updates reach everyone instantly, with nothing to download.
How a passenger books
- Pickup and destination with address search.
- Route preview on a map, with distance and estimated journey time.
- Vehicle type chosen from the types you run, such as car, large car, cab, minibus or executive.
- Date and time for now or a pre-booking.
- Estimated fare based on your own rate card, shown as an estimate.
Live tracking of their own car
Once a driver is dispatched, the passenger sees the assigned vehicle moving on the map, with a status that moves from on the way to arrived to on board. They only ever see their own car, never the rest of your fleet. Push notifications tell them when the driver is on the way and has arrived.
Straight into dispatch
Passenger bookings go into the same booking list as phone bookings, so your dispatcher or automatic dispatch handles them the same way. Dispatchers can edit, reassign or cancel any app booking when needed.
You stay in control
- Switch it on or off from the admin panel. When it is off, passengers see a message with your phone number instead.
- Your branding with your company name and colour in the app.
- Cancellation messaging. Free cancellation before a driver is dispatched, with clear notices about possible fees once a driver is on the way or waiting.
- Customer accounts with email verification, saved addresses and past bookings, kept separate for each taxi company.
